Frequently asked questions
Is the WhatsApp Business API free?
No. The WhatsApp Business app is free, but on the API Meta charges per message you send; messages customers send you are free. Bombenda passes Meta's fees through at cost.
How much does Bombenda cost?
Starter is $59 a month, Team $119 and Pro $229 (tax excluded). Hosting and AI usage are included; billed yearly, you get two months free.
Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?
Yes. Moving a number to the Business API follows Meta's rules; we do the migration with you.
Does the AI send replies on its own?
No. AI drafts the reply and your agent sends it. On Pro you can turn on automatic replies for topics you choose.
Do Instagram messages and emails come in too?
Yes. Instagram and Facebook messages and Gmail, Outlook or your own domain's email addresses land in the same inbox as WhatsApp.
